Swala Eid Naser, world athlete, suspended for two years

Swala Eid Naser has been suspended for another two years for violating anti-doping rules. The Court of Arbitration for Sport or CAS in Lausanne made the decision on 30 June 2021. A suspension recently interrupted by the AIU or Athletics Integrity Unit.

Swala Eid Naser had missed 4 times her anti-doping whereabouts obligations, by June 2020. She made an intelligence error in 1er January 2019, she missed three tests on 12 March 2019, 12 April 2019 and 24 January 2020. She got a 04-month suspension.

This re-decision by CAS will include other facts regarding the champion’s career. There will be erasure of results from 25 November 2019. This leaves her world title acquired one month earlier with a time of 48 sec 14.

As a result of this two-year suspension, Swala Eid Naser will not be able to participate in the Olympic Games in Tokyo from 23 July to 8 August 2021.
