Ex-Real Madrid captain Sergio Ramos; after four months of his arrival at PSG, still not fit to play.

On Monday, Le Parisien announced that Paris Saint-Germain was considering canceling the contract of their Spanish central defender Sergio Ramos.

Arriving at PSG this summer after the end of his contract at Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos was no doubt hoping for a better start to his Parisian adventure. Handicapped by his calves worries; the 35-year-old Spain international has yet to be seen in Mauricio Pochettino’s one-game squad. Worse, the Camas native does not train with his teammates as he is still continuing his individual preparation.

Under contract until 2023, the former international of La Roja, with 180 selections, 23 goals; is still in rehabilitation and still has not played a minute under his new colors. And according to information from IUSPORT, the capital club are considering getting rid of the former Real Madrid captain.

On this fact, PSG must respect article 17 of the Regulations for the Status and Transfer of Players: « In all cases, the party wishing to terminate the contract is required to pay compensation », which will be calculated according to the salary and the advantages perceived by the player in question.

But in this very difficult context, Sergio Ramos would refuse to be dejected. Indeed, the regional media in Ile-de-France explains that if some explain that he is affected by his situation, his sense of professionalism is praised at the training center, as well as « the efforts that he repeats with a heart and a state of flawless spirit in everyday life ”. It remains to be seen whether this good spirit and this hard work will allow him to see the end of the tunnel soon, but it is therefore clear that for the moment, Sergio Ramos refuses to give up arms.
