Blessed Isigbo joins Kayseri Kadın FK in Turkish Women’s Super League

Blessed Isigbo has joined Turkish Women’s Football Super League club Kayseri Kadın FK after three years with Remo Stars Ladies. The move takes the Nigerian defender abroad for the first time and opens a new stage of her career in Turkey’s top division.

Isigbo developed as a defensive player during her spell with the Nigerian Women’s Football League side. Her departure ends a three-year association with Remo Stars Ladies, where she gained experience in domestic women’s football and established herself as an important member of the defence.

Kayseri Kadın FK, also known as Yukatel Kayseri Kadın F.K., is based in Kayseri and competes in Turkey’s top-flight women’s league. Isigbo will now face a different football environment as she seeks to settle at the club and compete for a regular place in the squad.

The defender has also moved into a familiar Nigerian connection at Kayseri. Midfielder Adebesi Adetoun Dosumu is already part of the Turkish club’s setup, giving Isigbo a fellow Nigerian presence as she adapts to life and football in a new country.

Isigbo marked the transfer with a message expressing gratitude and excitement about joining Kayseri. She also reflected on her journey from Choba in Rivers State, Nigeria, to the Turkish top flight, a path that began in the domestic game and has now taken her beyond the country’s borders.

Her move adds to the growing number of Nigerian women footballers finding opportunities outside the domestic league. For Remo Stars Ladies, it means losing an experienced defender, while for Isigbo it provides the chance to test herself against leading women’s clubs in Turkey and raise her profile on the international stage.
