Erik Miloc wins vacant WBC FECONSUR middleweight title by TKO

Erik “El Acorazado” Miloc won the vacant WBC FECONSUR middleweight title by stopping Mexico’s Roberto Carlos “El Pinky” Sánchez Torres at 2:45 of the second round in Rosario. The referee ended the contest after Miloc scored two knockdowns in the round.

The bout headlined a Morán Boxing Promotions event at the Ros Tower, which was broadcast on ESPN KnockOut. Miloc, fighting in his home city, and Sánchez Torres began by exchanging attacks, but the contest changed sharply during the second round as the Argentine seized control.

Miloc’s first knockdown came from a right uppercut that landed cleanly and sent Sánchez Torres to the canvas. The Mexican rose, but Miloc immediately continued the assault. A second knockdown followed, and Sánchez Torres was unable to answer effectively when the action resumed. Alejandro Grispo then stopped the fight.

The victory gives Miloc a WBC regional championship and marks a significant addition to his professional record. It also strengthens his standing among the emerging names in Argentine boxing. The title had been vacant before the Rosario bout.

Several other fights completed the card. Matías Medina earned a decision over Tiago Dylan González in a flyweight contest, while Alex Nahuel Alfonso stopped Yael Sebastián Chura in the fourth round. Kevin Brian Furrer recorded a third-round knockout against Héctor Emilio Fernández, and Santiago Cerutti defeated Josué Daniel Zacarías by decision in a featherweight bout. The event added to Rosario’s recent boxing activity and created an opportunity for more high-level international cards in the city.
