ArthurLegacy trio secure UEFA places after Viktoria Plzen’s 5-1 win
Three Ghanaian players represented by ArthurLegacy Sports have secured places in the UEFA Conference League and Europa League group stages.
ArthurLegacy Sports is celebrating after three Ghanaian footballers represented by the agency secured places in the group stages of UEFA inter-club competitions. Ibrahim Sulemana, Ahmed Awua Ankrah and Prince Kwabena Adu will continue their European campaigns with Atalanta, Riga FC and Viktoria Plzen respectively.
Sulemana’s Atalanta have qualified for the UEFA Conference League. The Ghana midfielder has been represented by ArthurLegacy throughout his career, giving the agency one of its strongest links to a club competing in Europe.
Ankrah will also feature in the Conference League after Riga FC secured qualification. The Ghanaian has become an important member of the Latvian club’s midfield and played a significant role in its domestic success.
Adu helped Viktoria Plzen reach the UEFA Europa League group stage with a goal in their 5-1 home victory over Red Star Belgrade. Plzen advanced 5-4 on aggregate, despite the Ghanaian missing a penalty during the tie.
The result added another notable moment to Adu’s rise. The 2026 FIFA World Cup star was previously named among the Guardian’s 60 best young talents in the world. ArthurLegacy chief executive Oliver Arthur watched the decisive match from the stands on Thursday night.
The three qualifications highlight the agency’s growing presence in European football. They also reflect its stated approach of helping emerging players find opportunities in strong and competitive football environments. With Sulemana and Ankrah entering the Conference League and Adu moving into the Europa League, ArthurLegacy will have clients across two UEFA competitions.
