Cage Warriors to return to Newcastle for December 5, 2026 event

Cage Warriors will stage its next Newcastle show at the Vertu Arena on December 5, 2026, with the event available live on UFC Fight Pass.

Cage Warriors will return to Newcastle on Saturday, December 5, 2026, for an event at the Vertu Arena. The show will be streamed live on UFC Fight Pass and is scheduled to bring the promotion’s 2026 calendar to a close.

The Newcastle date follows a run of well-received Cage Warriors events in the city since the organisation resumed visits there in November 2024. The promotion has now confirmed that its relationship with the Vertu Arena will continue with another card featuring fighters from the north-east and beyond.

Cage Warriors’ most recent appearance at the venue came in early July. Middlesbrough fighter George Hardwick headlined that event, taking charge of the main event for the second time at what has become a regular home show for him.

Newcastle has also hosted several notable names wearing Cage Warriors’ yellow gloves. Stevie Ray, Sean Clancy Jr., Chris Bungard and Justin Burlinson are among the fighters who have appeared at the venue during the promotion’s events there.

The December card is expected to combine established regional talent with emerging fighters from the north-east. They will be matched against opponents from elsewhere in the United Kingdom, Europe and other parts of the world, continuing Cage Warriors’ approach of using the Newcastle event to test local prospects against international competition.

Tickets have not yet been released. Fans can register in advance to receive priority information when sales open, while the bouts and participating fighters will be confirmed later through Cage Warriors’ social media channels. All of the action will be available through UFC Fight Pass.
