TUF 34’s Delphine Benouaich booked for UFC Paris on Sept 5
Delphine Benouaich will make her UFC debut against Sofia Montenegro at UFC Paris on September 5, 2026, after her run on TUF 34.
Delphine Benouaich (7-2) will make her UFC debut against Sofia Montenegro (6-2) at UFC Paris on September 5, 2026. The bout will take place in Paris, France, at the Accor Arena.
The booking follows Benouaich’s appearance on The Ultimate Fighter 34, where she reached the semi-finals. She defeated Mackenzie Stiller before losing to Tina Black in a closely contested fight that was regarded among the strongest of the season.
Benouaich’s defeat ended her run on the show, but coaches Daniel Cormier and Michael Chiesa told her she would receive an opportunity with the UFC. She has now secured that chance in front of a home-country audience at the promotion’s Paris event.
Montenegro brings experience from Dana White’s Contender Series, where she earned a UFC contract despite being beaten by Jeisla Chaves on a split decision. Before that result, the Argentine had won three consecutive MMA bouts and had also competed in Muay Thai.
The matchup gives Benouaich a first UFC opponent with a professional record close to her own. Montenegro’s record stands at 6-2, while Benouaich enters with seven victories from nine professional contests.
UFC Paris will be headlined by Salahdine Parnasse against Dan Hooker in a lightweight bout. Parnasse, a former two-division KSW champion, is also set to make his UFC debut at the event.
