Mark Wahlberg names Jon Jones as UFC GOAT and confirms UFC 330 cameo

Actor and UFC stakeholder Mark Wahlberg identifies Jon Jones as the greatest fighter of all time and announces a movie promo at UFC 330.

Mark Wahlberg has identified Jon Jones as the greatest fighter in the history of the UFC. During a livestream where he answered questions from YouTuber N3on, the actor stated that Jones is the greatest of all time and cannot be surpassed.

Wahlberg noted his appreciation for several other fighters, including Khabib Nurmagomedov, Islam Makhachev, Georges St-Pierre, and Chuck Liddell. He expressed a preference for the sport's older era, noting that he has followed the UFC since its inception. The 55-year-old actor, who previously lived with UFC President Dana White, is currently a stakeholder in the organization.

In addition to his opinions on the sport, Wahlberg confirmed he will make an appearance at UFC 330 in Philadelphia. He revealed that he will use the event to promote his upcoming film, By Any Means. The movie follows a young Black FBI agent and a mafia hitman investigating the 1966 murders of civil rights leaders in Mississippi.

Regarding the UFC 330 main event, Wahlberg discussed the differences between MMA and boxing. He noted that in boxing, any fighter can be caught on any given night. The main event features welterweight champion Islam Makhachev defending his title against Ian Machado Garry.

Wahlberg, a two-time Academy Award nominee, is a frequent attendee at major UFC events and is expected to sit in the front row for the upcoming card.
