Canan Moodie says Springboks are focused on All Blacks series

Utility back Canan Moodie says the Springboks are now concentrating fully on their upcoming series against the All Blacks. This follows the South African side's 17-10 victory over Argentina in Buenos Aires on Saturday.

Moodie noted that the team will monitor the All Blacks as they prepare for matches against the Sharks in Durban this Tuesday and the Vodacom Bulls later this week. The Springboks intend to use these fixtures to observe the likely Test lineup of their opponents before the first Test begins at Ellis Park on 22 August.

The All Blacks recently secured a 38-21 win against the Stormers in Cape Town last Friday. Moodie stated that the Springboks will remain attentive to the New Zealanders' performances to ensure they are prepared for the series.

Reflecting on the recent win in Argentina, Moodie credited the team's success to their ability to maintain tactical systems despite high pressure. He mentioned that while many players were inexperienced with the hostile environment in Argentina, the coaching staff's preparation allowed them to manage the conditions.

Moodie highlighted that the team's adherence to their established systems helped them overcome fatigue and a long period of ball-in-play. He said the squad showed character by sticking to their plans amidst the difficult atmosphere and the crowd.
