Energy Capital & Power launches new London entity to expand reach
International events company Energy Capital & Power has established a UK entity in London to connect global investors with energy and mining markets.
Energy Capital & Power (ECP) has officially launched its UK-based entity in London. This expansion is a key part of the company's growth strategy to increase its presence across Europe and the United Kingdom.
By setting up operations in London, ECP aims to be closer to major investors within the global energy finance sector. The company intends to use this hub to facilitate business connections between energy markets in Africa and South America and investors in the Americas and Europe.
The company manages several investment platforms designed to link global capital with mining and energy projects. These include the annual Invest in African Energy Forum in Paris and the Venezuela Energy Week London Showcase, which has over 300 registered delegates for its July 30 event.
ECP's portfolio includes high-level summits in various resource-producing nations. Past and current events include Angola Oil & Gas, African Mining Week, the Libya Energy & Economic Summit, and the Congo Energy & Investment Forum, alongside South Sudan Oil & Power and Caribbean Energy Week.
Since 2016, the organization has supported licensing round roadshows and investor forums in cities such as Houston, Paris, and London. The company maintains teams across the Americas, Europe, and Africa to provide market intelligence and industry convening services.
Over the last decade, ECP has facilitated more than $25 billion in deals. Its events have brought together over 3,500 global organizations and 30 government partners to support project development and strategic dialogue in the energy and minerals sectors.
