Jalin Turner joins UFC 330 main card after Charles Johnson move

Jalin Turner has been promoted to the UFC 330 main card following a change in the fight lineup. The move comes after Jose Ochoa withdrew from the event due to an injury.

The injury to Ochoa caused a ripple effect through the scheduled bouts. Charles Johnson, who was set to face Ochoa, will now compete against former LFA champion Eduardo Henrique. This change has resulted in Johnson being moved from the main card to the preliminary portion of the event.

Turner will now take Johnson's place on the main card at the Xfinity Arena in Philadelphia this Saturday. He is scheduled to face Kaue Fernandes in his second fight since returning to mixed martial arts. Turner previously retired at UFC 313 after a first-round submission loss to Ignacio Bahamondes, but he returned to defeat Edson Barboza at UFC 323.

Fernandes enters the bout with an 11-2 professional record. He has secured three consecutive victories since his initial loss in the UFC. A win against the former ranked contender would provide Fernandes with momentum toward a lightweight ranking.

The UFC 330 event features several high-profile matchups, including the main event where Islam Makhachev defends his title. The card also includes a title challenge by Ian Machado Garry and a title defense by Mackenzie Dern.
