Nigerian Trio Shine as FCV Academy Secure 4-1 London Victory

Raheem Salaudeen and Fawas Adeleke scored as FCV International Football Academy beat Fox Academy of London 4-1 in an away match.

FCV International Football Academy defeated Fox Academy of London 4-1 away from home, with Nigerian youngsters Raheem Salaudeen and Fawas Ayomide Adeleke both finding the net. Obiora Jacob Iyida also made an attacking contribution as the trio gained another competitive opportunity in the United Kingdom.

Salaudeen was on target during an effective first-half performance from FCV. Andrey and Iman added further goals before the interval, giving the visitors a three-goal advantage at the break and putting them in control of the contest.

Adeleke scored after half-time to complete FCV’s four-goal return. His goal added to a performance that showed the Nigerian midfielder’s ability to contribute directly in front of goal while adapting to the demands of football in the UK.

Iyida did not score but remained involved in FCV’s attacking play. His movement, intent and willingness to challenge defenders created openings, although he was unable to finish two promising chances.

Salaudeen described the result as a positive team display and said the victory mattered alongside his personal satisfaction at scoring. He also recognised that the players still have areas to improve and intend to continue working on them.

For Adeleke, the goal provided encouragement, but he viewed the match as part of a longer learning process. The experience is helping him understand the standards required in British football as he works to develop his game.

The result gives Salaudeen, Adeleke and Iyida further exposure and match experience while they pursue their football ambitions abroad. FCV’s London victory also provided a platform for the three Nigerian players to demonstrate their qualities in a competitive setting.
