Salahdine Parnasse remains unbeaten since KSW three-weight bid

Salahdine Parnasse has not lost in the five fights since his attempt to become a simultaneous three-weight champion. His latest victory came in the first round against Kenneth Cross, extending a run that has taken him from KSW to the UFC.

Parnasse moved up from welterweight after holding KSW’s featherweight and lightweight titles to challenge Adrian Bartosinski for a third belt at KSW 89. The undefeated Polish champion won their five-round contest by unanimous decision, handing Parnasse the second defeat of his career.

That setback remains the Frenchman’s most recent loss. Before the welterweight challenge, his only defeat had come at KSW 58 in 2021, when Daniel Torres stopped him in the opening round. Parnasse later avenged that result, reclaiming the featherweight championship before adding KSW’s lightweight title.

After falling short against Bartosinski, Parnasse returned to lightweight for four more KSW appearances. Each fight ended before the third round, keeping him unbeaten since the three-division title attempt and restoring the momentum he had built across the Polish promotion.

He then made his first appearance on the MVP MMA card, where he faced Cross in a bout shown live on Netflix. Parnasse stopped his opponent in round one, continuing a finishing record that has defined his run since the loss to Bartosinski.

The 2023 challenge remains central to Parnasse’s pursuit of MMA history. Anatoly Malykhin later became a simultaneous champion in three divisions in ONE Championship, although that organisation uses different weight classes. Parnasse now takes his unbeaten post-KSW 89 run into his UFC debut, which will headline the event.
