Southampton Under-21s Premier League 2 fixtures for 2026/27 revealed

The Southampton Under-21s schedule for the 2026/27 Premier League 2 season features an opening run of away games and a home match against Bournemouth.

The Premier League 2 fixture list for the 2026/27 season has been announced, detailing the schedule for Southampton Under-21s. The campaign begins with a challenging period of travel for the side.

Southampton will start their August schedule with three consecutive matches away from home. This opening run includes a National League Cup fixture at Truro City on August 18, followed by league games against West Ham United on August 21 and Everton on August 28.

The first home fixture of the season will take place in September, when Bournemouth visit for a south coast derby on August 12. Following this, the team travels to Wolverhampton Wanderers on August 18 and faces Boston United in the National League Cup on August 13.

Adam Lallana's squad will host Manchester United to conclude the calendar year. The team will then enter 2027 with an away fixture against Derby County. The regular season will conclude with a trip to face Arsenal.

Other scheduled league matches include home games against Ipswich Town, Norwich City, Reading, Leicester City, and Brentford. Away fixtures will be played at Crystal Palace, Sutton United, Brighton & Hove Albion, Burnley, Birmingham, Nottingham Forest, and Manchester City.

Under the current league structure, the top 16 teams will qualify for the post-season play-offs to compete for the Premier League 2 title. Fixtures for the Premier League Cup and the Premier League International Cup are expected to be released at a later date.
