Unbeaten heavyweights Hysa and Narmo join Itauma-Hrgovic card

Nelson Hysa and Thomas Narmo will meet on the Moses Itauma-Filip Hrgovic card at London’s O2 Arena on August 29. The two unbeaten heavyweights bring a combined record of 38 wins and 36 knockouts to the Queensberry pay-per-view event.

Narmo arrives with a perfect stoppage record. The Norwegian is also nearly 10 years younger than Hysa, the 41-year-old Albanian, giving the bout a clear contrast in age as well as style and experience.

Hysa has previously been linked with a meeting against Tyson Fury. That contest did not take place, with Fury instead facing 46-year-old Mariusz Wach and stopping him in the seventh round last month. Hysa’s contest with Narmo now represents a significant test of his unbeaten record.

The winner will move into position for a more important heavyweight opportunity. One possible route could be a meeting with the winner of another fight on the bill between Italy’s Guido Vianello and Moses Jolly. Vianello is making his Queensberry debut after stopping Alexis Barriere in the fifth round and has also recorded a stoppage win over Arslanbek Makhmudov.

The card already includes a lightweight bout between Sam Noakes and former world champion Denys Berinchyk. Noakes, 29, is seeking to return to the leading contenders after losing his attempt to win the WBO title against Abdullah Mason last November. Berinchyk has not boxed since his fourth-round stoppage loss to Keyshawn Davis in February 2025.

Hysa-Narmo adds another unbeaten heavyweight contest beneath the main event, which brings Itauma and Hrgovic together at the O2. Narmo’s 100 per cent knockout record will be tested against Hysa, whose experience includes the attention generated by his previous connection to the Fury camp.
