Wolves partner with The Halls to launch new indoor fanzone
Wolves have announced a partnership with the University of Wolverhampton at The Halls to create a permanent indoor matchday destination for fans.
Wolves have entered into a partnership with the University of Wolverhampton at The Halls to establish a new indoor fanzone. The venue will serve as a matchday destination for supporters ahead of every home fixture during the 2026/27 campaign.
This initiative coincides with the club's 150th anniversary season. The new location is situated a short walk from Molineux and aims to provide a consistent environment for fans to socialise. By moving indoors, the club intends to resolve issues faced by the current outdoor fanzone, which is often limited by poor weather during the winter months.
The Wolves Fanzone at The Halls will offer live football on big screens, music, food, and drink. Supporters can also expect appearances from former players and special guests. The venue is designed to be a space where families and friends can gather before heading to the stadium.
Executive chairman Nathan Shi stated that the project is intended to strengthen the link between the club, its supporters, and the city. He noted that the goal is to create a destination that fans actively choose to visit. General manager at The Halls, Crissie Rushton, described the partnership as a natural fit for both organisations.
The fanzone is scheduled to open at 5pm this Friday in the Wulfrun Hall. The launch will take place ahead of the club's opening EFL Championship match of the 2026/27 season against Blackburn Rovers. The opening event will feature appearances by Michael Kightly and Ryan Bennett, alongside music from Jack Cattell and a DJ set by The 48s.
