The first half of the encounter remained scoreless as neither side could find a breakthrough. The teams went into the halftime break on level terms after 45 minutes of play.
Young Apostles exerted pressure early in the second half. Just one minute after the restart, they took the lead through a penalty kick, putting Aduana FC in a position where they had to chase the game.
Aduana FC responded to the deficit almost immediately. Five minutes after conceding, Stephen Amankona restored parity by converting a penalty in the 50th minute of the match.
The game remained balanced until the final moments of regulation time. Prince Otubua scored a goal during injury time to complete the comeback and secure all three points for Aduana FC.
