Angie Colmenarez, stopped in all 19 bouts, gets 20-day suspension
Angie Colmenarez is 0-19 after 19 stoppage defeats, but Venezuela’s boxing commission has listed her suspension as lasting only 20 days.
Venezuelan boxer Angie Colmenarez has been suspended for 20 days after losing her 19th professional bout by stoppage. She is now 0-19, with every defeat ending before the final bell.
Roxana Maria Colmenarez stopped her 53 seconds into the third round on August 11 in Ciudad Caribia, Venezuela. The fight had been scheduled for eight rounds, despite Angie Colmenarez never having completed a professional contest.
The 33-year-old began her career in July 2022, when Erika Bolivar stopped her in the opening round. Across her 19 bouts, Colmenarez has completed only 40 recorded rounds. Her losses include knockouts, technical knockouts and retirements, all listed in the knockout column of her record.
Several of the defeats have come quickly. Jhossibel Albornoz needed 46 seconds to stop her in October 2025, while Leiryn Flores ended an eight-round contest in the first round in February 2024. Flores stopped Colmenarez three times in less than nine months.
Colmenarez has also repeatedly faced opponents who had already beaten her. Bolivar accounted for four of her stoppage losses between 2022 and 2025, while Yuskenny Colmenares and Roxana Maria Colmenarez each stopped her twice. In total, 11 of the 19 bouts were against those four boxers, and each ended with another stoppage defeat.
Her latest run included a second-round loss to Yuskenny Colmenares in April, a third-round defeat by professional debutant Yasnerys Oropeza in May and a second-round stoppage against Johana Gomez in June. The Venezuelan professional boxing commission has listed her as suspended until August 31, which is 20 days after the latest defeat. The notice does not confirm that she will automatically be cleared to return on that date, while her record has raised questions about matchmaking and fighter safety.
