Eduardo Henrique replaces Jose Ochoa for Charles Johnson at UFC 330

Eduardo Henrique has stepped in to face Charles Johnson at UFC 330 on just three days' notice. The Brazilian fighter replaces Jose Ochoa, who was forced out of the Philadelphia event due to an injury.

Henrique, who holds a professional record of 15-2, is a former LFA titleholder. He previously competed on season 33 of The Ultimate Fighter, where he lost his debut bout to Joseph Morales while fighting on Daniel Cormier’s team. This matchup represents his first opportunity to perform in the UFC on such short notice.

Johnson enters the contest following an active period, having competed nine times since the beginning of 2024. The former LFA champion has secured knockout victories over Lone’er Kavanagh and the current champion Joshua Van. However, his recent form has been inconsistent, as he suffered a strike-based stoppage against Alex Perez and a submission loss to Asu Almabayev in his last two outings.

Johnson was originally scheduled to fight in the final bout before the two championship headliners. While the matchup is confirmed, it is not yet certain if the fight will retain its high position on the main card following the change in opponents.

The UFC 330 card features several notable fighters, including Mackenzie Dern, Edson Barboza, and Joel Alvarez. The main event will see Islam Makhachev defend his title against Ian Machado Garry in a welterweight championship bout.
