Efraín Juárez expresses desire to manage Celtic in the future

Efraín Juárez has declared his intention to manage Celtic at some point in his career. The Mexican coach, who previously played for the club, stated during an interview with TUDN’s Faitelson sin Censura that he intends to take the job at Celtic Park.

Juárez is currently the head coach of the Hungarian club Győri ETO FC. While he has expressed a strong desire to lead Celtic, he is also being linked to a role with the Mexican national team. He would be working alongside Rafael Márquez if that move occurs, though he noted that no invitation has been extended by Márquez or the national team setup yet.

The coach believes his professional experience would benefit the Mexican national team project if he is offered a position. He views the prospect of joining the international coaching staff as a favorable opportunity for his career development.

His playing history with Celtic is limited to 20 appearances. Despite this brief tenure as a player, he remains unequivocal about his goal to return to the dugout at the club.

Juárez is currently in the early stages of his managerial career. A role within the Mexican national team structure would provide significant experience to his professional profile as he pursues his long-term ambitions.
