ENPPI have completed the signing of Nigerian striker Razak Labode from Grassrunners FC. In the 2026 Egyptian Premier League table, ENPPI are 14th with zero points from zero matches and a 0-0 goal record.
Labode joins the Cairo club from Grassrunners, who compete in Nigeria’s Nationwide League One, also known as the NLO. The move was completed before the start of ENPPI’s 2026-27 Egyptian Premier League campaign.
The youngster drew ENPPI’s attention through a series of strong performances for Grassrunners. Those displays earned him a move to the Egyptian top flight, although no details of the contract have been given.
Labode becomes the second Nigerian to represent ENPPI during the past five years. The other Nigerian named in the club’s recent history is Minusu Buba.
ENPPI finished sixth in the Egyptian top flight last season, but their current league position is 14th before they have recorded a result in the 2026 competition. Their next fixture is at home against Wadi Degla on August 28.
The club’s latest recorded form includes one win, one draw and three defeats. ENPPI beat Wadi Degla 1-0, drew 0-0 with the same opponent, and lost to Al-Masry SC, Al Ahly and Al Assiouty Sport by 3-0, 3-0 and 3-2 respectively.
