Hull City prepare €8m bid for Real Betis winger Pablo García

Hull City are preparing to submit a formal transfer proposal for Real Betis winger Pablo García in the coming hours. The move could see the Tigers become the first club to make a concrete offer for the 19-year-old, potentially beating several other interested sides to a deal.

While Real Betis have not officially placed a price on the academy graduate, the Spanish club's valuation is estimated at approximately €8m (£6.9m). Betis are reportedly open to a sale to fund new signings, specifically targeting a striker and a midfielder for Manuel Pellegrini's squad. The Spanish side may also seek to retain a percentage of the player's future rights or a share of any subsequent profit.

García has attracted significant interest from several European clubs this summer, including Ajax, Sporting Braga, Osasuna, and Alavés. Wolverhampton have also monitored the winger, having previously sent scouts to watch him. However, Hull City are positioned to move ahead of these competitors by taking the next step with a formal bid.

The winger has seen his stock rise following a productive pre-season where he recorded three goals and one assist. These performances have led to calls from Betis supporters for the player to receive more first-team opportunities.
