Ekeh Smart scored two goals to lead Sharp Striker FA to a 4-1 victory over Radiance FA. The match was the opening U-15 encounter of the Femmco Football Championship 2026, held at the NUD Playing Ground in Olose, Ifo, Ogun State.

Smart was central to the attacking performance that secured the win. Although Sharp Striker faced difficulties during a competitive first half, they improved in the second half to take control of the game. Smart's brace helped ensure the team started their campaign with three points.

Reflecting on the performance, Smart said he felt excited and determined to win more matches. He noted that despite the struggles in the opening period, he maintained a mindset that his team would win from the moment the game started.

The young forward credited his footballing ability to God and expressed a desire to keep learning. He revealed that he draws inspiration from Cristiano Ronaldo, frequently watching videos of the Portuguese player to study his movement, finishing, and general approach to the game.

Smart also shared his long-term ambitions of representing Nigeria. He stated that representing the nation would be a moment of greatness for him. He emphasized that reaching such a level requires discipline, patience, and constant improvement, noting that he intends to keep learning to reach his potential.
