Ghana officials to lead 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup tie in Lomé

Ghanaian referee Julian Nunoo will officiate the 2026/27 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary-second first leg between ASKO de Kara and AS Zam on September 13, 2026. The match will be played at Stade de Kégué in Lomé, Togo.

Nunoo has been selected by the Confederation of African Football as the centre referee for the fixture. The appointment puts him in charge of the meeting between the Togolese club and Nigerien opponents as they begin this stage of the continental competition.

He will work with two fellow Ghanaians on the touchlines. Roland Nii Duodu Addy and Theophilus Aberenga Akugre have been assigned as the assistant referees.

The fourth official will be Ivorian Patrick Tanguy Jean Philippe Vlei. His role completes the on-field officiating group for the match in Lomé.

CAF has also appointed officials to oversee the wider match administration. Equatorial Guinea’s Antonio Esono Maquina Bindang will serve as the match commissioner, while Nigerian Aminu Shantali Shantali Shuaibu has been named referee assessor.

The fixture is listed as the first leg of the preliminary-second round, with ASKO de Kara representing Togo and AS Zam representing Niger. The full CAF-appointed team therefore includes officials from Ghana, Côte d’Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea and Nigeria for the September encounter.
