Haaland receives four Guinness World Records for football feats

Manchester City centre-forward Erling Haaland has been officially recognised by Guinness World Records for four separate football achievements. The Norwegian striker received certificates for milestones reached during his career, including his rapid ascent to 100 Premier League goals.

One of the primary honours relates to his speed in the English Premier League, where he became the fastest player to reach the 100-goal mark by scoring them in only 111 games. He also holds the record for the highest number of goals scored by a single player in a 38-game Premier League season, having netted 36 times.

Haaland's international and continental performances also earned him recognition. He holds the record for the most goals scored in the UEFA Nations League with 19 goals scored between September 2020 and November 2024. Furthermore, he shares the record for the most goals scored in a single UEFA Champions League match, having scored five goals in one game alongside Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano.

The 26-year-old's recent form remains high following a productive 2025/26 campaign. During that season, he secured the Premier League Golden Boot by scoring 27 goals in 35 appearances. He also contributed eight goals in 10 Champions League matches, resulting in a total of 35 goals from 48 club appearances.

Haaland, who joined Manchester City from Dortmund for €60.00M in the 22/23 season, will be featured in the upcoming Guinness World Records Football Edition 2027. The publication is scheduled for release on 8 October.
