KSK Heist sign Ghanaian winger Aaron Osei Bonsu on free transfer
KSK Heist have added Ghanaian-Belgian winger Aaron Osei Bonsu from Rot Weiss Ahlen on a free transfer for the 1ste Nationale VV campaign.
KSK Heist have signed Aaron Osei Bonsu from German club Rot Weiss Ahlen on a free transfer. The 21-year-old completed the move on 21 August 2026 and will join Heist’s squad in the Belgian 1ste Nationale VV.
Osei Bonsu is primarily a right winger and is left-footed. His position gives Heist an option on the flank, while his preferred foot allows him to move inside from the right. He stands 1.75 metres tall and holds both Belgian and Ghanaian nationality.
The move returns him to Belgium after a spell in Germany. Osei Bonsu joined Rot Weiss Ahlen in November 2025, following a period without a club after leaving Al-Dhafra FC in July of the same year. Ahlen compete in the Westfalenliga 1.
He made 17 Oberliga Westfalen appearances during his time in Germany, scoring once and registering one assist. His playing history also includes 19 matches in 3de Nationale VV B, four appearances in 2de Nationale VV B and two games in the CPL Promotion-Playoffs.
Osei Bonsu began his development at Beerschot, progressing through the club’s under-18 and reserve teams before reaching the senior squad in July 2023. He was part of the Beerschot team that won the Belgian Second League title in the 2023-24 season.
After that success, he moved to the United Arab Emirates, joining Al-Dhafra FC from Beerschot on a free transfer in September 2024. His arrival at Heist now takes his career through Belgian, Emirati and German football before another return to Belgium.
