Manchester City agree €60m sale of Tijjani Reijnders to Al-Qadsiah

Manchester City have reached an agreement with Al-Qadsiah for the transfer of Tijjani Reijnders. The clubs have settled on a fee of €60m to facilitate the move of the Netherlands international.

The deal is currently pending a final decision from the 28-year-old midfielder. While Reijnders is under contract at the Etihad Stadium until 2030, he is not considered a central part of Enzo Maresca's future plans. This agreement comes after Manchester City had previously indicated they would require more than €44m to allow a sale.

Reijnders joined the Premier League side from AC Milan in July 2025. He recorded seven goals and eight assists across 50 appearances during his first season in England, though his influence on matches decreased during the latter half of the campaign.

The Saudi Arabian club's move follows interest from other teams, including Galatasaray and Juventus. However, the acceptance of the €60m bid suggests that the Italian and Turkish sides may miss out on the player.

Manchester City are active in the transfer market and have already secured the signing of Elliot Anderson. The club is also making progress regarding the acquisition of Lille's Ayyoub Bouaddi. Whether Reijnders will accept the move to the Middle East remains to be seen.
