Manchester City are monitoring the availability of Liverpool midfielder Alexis Mac Allister this summer. The Mancunian club is showing interest in the Argentine international as they look to bolster their midfield options during this transfer period.

The 27-year-old midfielder recorded two goals and four assists in 37 league appearances for Liverpool last season. While he faced challenges with consistency during that campaign, he concluded the season with a series of influential performances in the center of the pitch.

Mac Allister is a versatile player capable of operating as a box-to-box midfielder, a holding midfielder, or in the number ten role. His technical profile includes strong tackling abilities to regain possession, effective passing, and the ability to score from long range.
