Navaya reaches 15 goals for Hardrock, two short of last season’s 17-goal tally

Hardrock striker Navaya has scored twice to reach 15 goals, putting him within two of the total that won last season’s Golden Boot.

Hardrock striker Navaya has taken his season’s total to 15 goals after scoring twice, leaving him two short of the mark that brought him last season’s Golden Boot and Soccer Star of the Year awards.

The Zimbabwe Warriors forward is again among the leading scorers, having reached 15 goals with plenty of the campaign still remaining. His current total places him close to the 17 goals he scored last season, when he finished as the leading scorer and collected Zimbabwe’s top individual football honour.

Navaya’s form has made him one of the main attacking threats at Hardrock. Matching last season’s total now requires only two more goals, while moving beyond 17 would give him a higher league tally than the one that secured both awards in the previous campaign.

Hardrock’s attack has also gained another productive Warriors forward in Prince Dube. Dube has scored six goals since joining the club, giving the side a second striker who is contributing regularly alongside Navaya.

The partnership between the two Zimbabwe internationals has added to Hardrock’s attacking options. Navaya remains the main source of goals, but Dube’s six strikes mean opponents must also account for another forward capable of finding the net.

For Navaya, the immediate target is clear: two more goals would bring him level with last season’s 17-goal haul. At 15 and counting, he is once again competing for the scoring crown while continuing his pursuit of another award-winning campaign.
