Nigeria’s Jaybash claims second Urban Motor Show 2026 title in Lomé

Nigeria’s Jamus Bashar Muhammad, known in motorsport as Jaybash, won the 2026 Urban Motor Show in Lomé, Togo, on Sunday, August 23. The drifting specialist secured his second title in the event after finishing ahead of a field of 16 international drivers.

The competition took place at Stade de Kégué, where Jaybash produced the performance that earned him another crown. His victory adds to his growing record in African motorsport and makes him a two-time Urban Motor Show winner.

Jaybash’s latest success also gives Nigeria another result on the international motorsport stage. He has become closely associated with drifting, and the Lomé triumph further strengthens his reputation in the discipline.

The event was organised by DMT Club – Drift Masters Togo in partnership with the Fédération Togolaise des Sports Mécaniques. Its programme combined drifting with vehicle exhibitions and live entertainment, bringing several parts of the motor-show format together at the Lomé venue.

The Urban Motor Show crown follows Jaybash’s earlier success at the Fanfaro AUTOFEST 2025, where he was also crowned champion. His latest title continues a run of prominent wins while keeping his name at the centre of Nigeria’s developing drift scene.

For Jaybash, the result represents more than the addition of another trophy. It is another international achievement for a Nigerian driver competing in a field that included 16 drivers from different countries.
