Raoni Barcelos and Raul Rosas Jr set for UFC Vegas 121 main event
Raoni Barcelos will meet Raul Rosas Jr in a five-round UFC Vegas 121 main event in September 2026, with both bantamweights on five-fight runs.
Raoni Barcelos and Raul Rosas Jr will headline UFC Vegas 121 in a five-round bantamweight main event in September 2026. The fight will be Rosas Jr’s first UFC main event and matches two fighters who have each won their last five contests.
Barcelos enters the booking with a 22-5 professional record and a No. 13 position in the UFC’s official bantamweight rankings. The Brazilian has won five consecutive fights, including victories over former UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt, prospect Payton Talbott and Ricky Simon.
His UFC career began with five straight victories after he joined the promotion in 2018. Barcelos then endured a difficult stretch in which he went 1-4 before rebuilding his record with his current winning sequence.
Rosas Jr brings a 12-1 record into the main event. He has won five in a row and holds a 6-1 record inside the UFC, where he has competed since making his debut at 18 years old.
The American fighter joined the UFC at 17 after winning on Dana White’s Contender Series. That made him the youngest fighter in UFC history to sign with the promotion. His rise now leads to his first five-round headline bout against a ranked opponent.
The booking was announced during the UFC 330 main-card broadcast. UFC Vegas 121 is scheduled for September 2026, with the Barcelos-Rosas Jr contest occupying the top position on the card.
