Ronaldo scores on Al-Nassr return in Saudi Pro League 4-0 win

Cristiano Ronaldo marked his first Al-Nassr appearance of the season with the fourth goal in a 4-0 Saudi Pro League win over Al-Riyadh.

Al-Nassr started the Saudi Pro League season with a 4-0 victory over Al-Riyadh on Friday. Cristiano Ronaldo completed the scoring in his first appearance of the campaign, marking his return with Al-Nassr’s fourth goal.

The club captain began the match among the substitutes and entered after the interval. His introduction added a notable moment to a result that had already been shaped by Al-Nassr’s strong opening half and early second-half response.

Abdulelah Al-Amri put Al-Nassr ahead before Angelo Gabriel doubled the advantage. Both goals came before the break, leaving Al-Nassr in control at half-time and Al-Riyadh facing a two-goal deficit.

Joao Felix added a third soon after the restart for Ange Postecoglou’s team. Ronaldo then scored the final goal, completing the 4-0 result and opening his personal account for the new season.

Ronaldo later marked the occasion on X with a photograph of himself celebrating alongside his teammates. His accompanying message, “Good to be back,” reflected his return to club action after an extended break.

That break followed Portugal’s run at the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which ended in the round of 16. His appearance against Al-Riyadh therefore combined a personal return with a decisive Al-Nassr result, as the captain moved back into the team with a goal.
