Southampton confirm men’s squad numbers ahead of 2026/27 season

Southampton have confirmed their men’s squad numbers for the 2026/27 season. Daniel Peretz will wear No. 1 after his loan move was made permanent, while Cyle Larin keeps the No. 9 shirt he used before completing his move to the club.

Lewis Dobbin has been assigned No. 11 for his first season with Southampton. Divin Mubama, another summer arrival, will wear No. 28. The club have also changed the numbers of several players already on their books.

Leo Scienza moves from No. 13 to the No. 7 shirt, while Caspar Jander changes from No. 20 to No. 8. Aaron Ramsdale has switched No. 30 for No. 32, the number he previously wore during spells with Arsenal and Newcastle.

Cameron Bragg has been given No. 26 after his breakthrough 2025/26 campaign. The academy graduate is set for his first full season with the men’s first team. The other confirmed numbers include Mads Roerslev at No. 2, Ryan Manning at No. 3, Flynn Downes at No. 4, Jack Stephens at No. 5 and Taylor Harwood-Bellis at No. 6.

Finn Azaz will wear No. 10, with James Bree taking No. 14 and Nathan Wood No. 15. Yukinari Sugawara has No. 16, Joshua Quarshie No. 17, Tom Fellows No. 18 and Cameron Archer No. 19. Ben Brereton Díaz has No. 22, Sam Edozie No. 23, George Long No. 25 and Kuryu Matsuki No. 27.

The remaining numbers belong to Romeo Akachukwu at No. 29, Gavin Bazunu at No. 31, Welington at No. 34, Joachim Kayi Sanda at No. 39, Damion Downs at No. 42 and Moses Sesay at No. 47. The confirmed list sets Southampton’s numbered men’s squad ahead of the new campaign.
