Southampton name Bargate as first Official Chapel Stand Partner

Southampton have appointed Hampshire-based homebuilder Bargate as the first Official Stand Partner in St Mary’s Stadium history. The expanded agreement covers the Chapel Stand, which will now be known as The Chapel Stand in partnership with Bargate.

Bargate will remain Southampton’s Official New Homes Partner while taking on the additional stadium role. Its branding will appear throughout the stand and in the Chapel Fan Zone, giving the company a prominent presence during matchdays.

The relationship began in 2023, when Bargate joined Southampton as a Regional Partner. It moved into the Official New Homes Partner position in 2025, and the latest agreement marks a further expansion of the partnership between the club and the regional housebuilder.

The collaboration has included 150 free Saints Soccer Schools places for pupils eligible for pupil premium support. It has also helped Saints Foundation stage its Senior Saints Christmas Dinner and led to the creation of the Bargate Sensory Room at St Mary’s, designed to support a more inclusive experience for supporters.

The partnership’s work received recognition at the UK Sponsorship Awards in 2025. Southampton and Bargate said the next phase would continue to centre on supporter-focused and community initiatives in Hampshire and the wider South.

The announcement comes as Southampton marks 25 years of St Mary’s Stadium. Bargate’s managing director Mark White described the stand agreement as a first shared with the club and linked it to the company’s growth as a regional housebuilder. Southampton chief revenue officer Greg Baker said the club valued Bargate’s work with supporters and the local community and wanted to extend those efforts through the new arrangement.
