Three Ghanaian Officials Appointed for WAFU B Women’s CAF Champions League

Three Ghanaian football officials have been selected for duties at the ongoing WAFU Zone B Women’s CAF Champions League qualifying tournament in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso. Their appointments cover match officiating, referee assessment and technical instruction as clubs compete for progression to the next stage.

Rejoice Addokwei has been assigned as one of the centre referees at the regional competition. Her role places her at the heart of the matches as the participating clubs pursue qualification through the WAFU B route.

Patricia Kyeraa will serve as an assistant referee. She joins Addokwei among the Ghanaian officials involved directly in the conduct of games during the tournament in the Burkinabe capital.

Aglago Grace Emmanuella has been given a role outside the match officials on the field. She has been appointed as a technical instructor and referees assessor, with responsibilities linked to the development and evaluation of referees working at the competition.

The three appointments give Ghana representation across different areas of the tournament’s officiating structure. Addokwei and Kyeraa will support the delivery of matches as referee and assistant referee, while Emmanuella will contribute to the technical work surrounding the officials.

Their selection also reflects the standing of Ghanaian football officials within the region. They are expected to uphold professional standards and help ensure that the fixtures are conducted smoothly throughout the qualifying tournament.
