Tresean Gore beats Vicente Luque by unanimous decision at UFC 330

Tresean Gore defeated Vicente Luque by unanimous decision at UFC 330, surviving a knockdown and submission attempt before losing several teeth.

Tresean Gore defeated Vicente Luque by unanimous decision at UFC 330, winning a 15-minute middleweight bout on scores of 30-27, 30-27 and 29-28. The victory came at a heavy cost, with Gore losing multiple teeth during the fight.

Gore started the contest quickly, using low kicks, jabs, head-kick attempts and close-range strikes to disrupt Luque’s forward movement. He connected with a powerful punch in the opening round that left the Brazilian unsteady, although Luque recovered and landed a right hook before the bell.

Luque changed the momentum at the beginning of the second round. He dropped Gore with a punch and followed with a front-choke attempt that briefly put the American in serious danger. Gore escaped, then attacked with heavy punches while Luque was seated against the cage.

The exchange continued to swing Gore’s way. He took Luque’s back and searched for a rear-naked choke before moving into full mount. Gore added elbows and threatened an arm-triangle submission, ending an eventful round on top after surviving the knockdown and choke attempt.

The pace eased in the third round, but Gore remained in control of the exchanges. He circled away from Luque’s pressure, landed several clean enough shots and defended the Brazilian’s late takedown attempt. Luque continued to press forward but could not regain the initiative.

Gore’s second consecutive UFC victory is also his second UFC win of 2026. He improved to 7-4 overall and 4-4 in the promotion, while Luque dropped to 24-13-1 professionally and 17-9 in the UFC. Gore’s damaged mouth was clear after the decision, when he displayed one of the teeth knocked out during the fight while several others appeared badly damaged.
