
Amus College and Boni Consili to open FEASSA Girls Football
The 2026 FEASSA Games begin in Morogoro, Tanzania, with Amus College and Boni Consili set to face off in the opening girls' football match.
The 2026 Federation of East Africa Secondary Schools Association (FEASSA) Games officially begin on Friday, 14th August 2026. The tournament will be hosted across several different venues throughout Morogoro city in Tanzania.
Girls' football is among the primary fixtures scheduled for the first day of competition. The opening match of the day features Amus College School against Boni Consili Girls Vocational & Secondary School. This encounter is set to take place at Jamhuri Stadium with a 9 AM kick-off.
Action at Jamhuri Stadium will continue later in the morning following the opening duel. At 11 AM, Rines Secondary School from Uganda is scheduled to play against the Tanzanian side ZIBA at the same venue.
Two other significant girls' football matches are scheduled for the 1 PM time slot. At Ujenzi Stadium, Kenya's Nyakach Girls will compete against Jinja Progressive Academy from Uganda. At the same time, St Joseph’s Girls Kitale from Kenya will face Alliance from Tanzania at Highland Stadium.
Beyond the girls' secondary school category, the first day of the games will also include football matches for boys and primary school students. The tournament brings together various educational institutions from across the region.
This year's edition of the FEASSA Games includes participating schools from five different countries. The competing nations are Tanzania, Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, and Burundi.
