Amus College School beat IPTEM 3-0 in the 2026 FEASSA Games

Amus College School defeated Burundi’s IPTEM 3-0 at Jamuhuri Stadium in Morogoro to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the 2026 FEASSA Games. The Ugandan side remained unbeaten after playing the final stages with 10 men.

Kombi Eze opened the scoring before Musa Suuna added a second goal for the reigning Uganda national football champions. Mudasir Ijosiga completed the scoring from the penalty spot.

Amus lost Mathias Kasadah to a red card, but IPTEM could not take advantage of the numerical difference. The result gave Amus their second victory in Group A.

They had started the campaign with a 1-0 win against Mbeya Day at the Highlands sports complex on Friday. Six points from two matches put Amus at the top of Group A and confirmed their qualification for the knockout stage.

Their final group match is against Tanzania’s Nsumba SS on Tuesday, 18 August 2026. Mbeya Day recorded their first Group B win by beating fellow Tanzanian side Nsumba SS 2-0.

The 2026 FEASSA Games bring together secondary and primary schools, as well as institutions for children with special needs, from Tanzania, Uganda, Kenya, Rwanda and Burundi. The championship includes more than 20 sports and has attracted over 5,000 participants.
