Angus Hall extends Saracens contract after England A breakthrough
The 20-year-old Saracens centre has extended his contract after making senior appearances and representing England A against Spain and an All Blacks XV.
Angus Hall has extended his contract with Saracens, securing the next stage of the 20-year-old centre’s development at the Premiership club. Hall came through the Saracens academy before making his senior breakthrough last season.
His first-team opportunities included three Premiership appearances. He also featured once in the Champions Cup and played three times in the Premiership Cup, giving him experience across Saracens’ domestic and European campaigns.
Hall’s progress at club level was followed by international recognition in November. He represented England A in matches against Spain and an All Blacks XV, adding a higher level of competition to his emerging career.
The contract extension keeps an academy graduate with Saracens after a season in which he moved beyond development rugby and into senior competition. His six club appearances across the Premiership, Champions Cup and Premiership Cup formed the basis of that progress.
Hall’s England A involvement also came after those opportunities with Saracens. The November fixtures against Spain and the All Blacks XV marked his latest step in the pathway from the club’s academy to representative rugby.
For Saracens, the extension retains a young centre who has already gained experience in the club’s main competitions and with England A. Hall’s route through the academy and into the senior squad now continues under a longer agreement with the club.
