Asante Kotoko sign Cameroon attacker Solomon Nsoh Asaah permanently

Asante Kotoko have completed the permanent signing of 21-year-old Cameroonian attacker Solomon Nsoh Asaah from AS Fortuna de Mfou.

Asante Kotoko have completed the permanent signing of Cameroonian attacker Solomon Nsoh Asaah from AS Fortuna de Mfou. The 21-year-old has joined the Kumasi club ahead of the upcoming Ghana Premier League campaign, adding another attacking option to the squad.

Nsoh Asaah agreed to a permanent contract after impressing Kotoko’s technical team with his qualities in the final third. The club will look to the attacker to strengthen its forward line as preparations continue for the new season.

The new signing arrives with youth international experience for Cameroon. In 2024, he represented the Cameroon Under-20 side that won the Francophonie Games in the Democratic Republic of Congo, a success that increased his profile beyond his home country.

That tournament triumph was followed by a period in Tunisia, where Nsoh Asaah had trials with several top-flight clubs. The opportunities included US Monastir and Esperance de Tunis, as well as other first-division teams, but none of those spells resulted in a permanent contract.

His move to Kotoko gives him the chance to continue his development in Ghanaian football. The club expects his pace, attacking ability and versatility to provide additional choices in the final third during the league campaign.

Kotoko’s recruitment of the young Cameroonian also adds depth to a squad preparing to compete for major honours. Nsoh Asaah will now aim to establish himself with the Porcupine Warriors after moving on from AS Fortuna de Mfou.
