FEASSA Games 2026: Boni Consili earn first win, beat Kilombero 3-0
Uganda’s Boni Consili Vocational and Secondary School opened their FEASSA Games 2026 account with a 3-0 Group B win over Tanzania’s Kilombero.
Uganda’s Boni Consili Vocational and Secondary School began their FEASSA Games 2026 campaign with a 3-0 victory over Tanzania’s Kilombero Secondary School. The Group B match was played at the Highlands Sports Complex in Morogoro on Saturday.
The result was Boni Consili’s first win of the championship. Their three goals came from Biba Nenchamba, Peace Muduwa and Rinah Ariho, who completed the scoring from the penalty spot.
Boni Consili, based in Isingiro district, controlled the contest strongly enough to finish with a three-goal margin against their Tanzanian opponents. The victory gives the Ugandan school an important early result in Group B before their next fixture.
Their next challenge will be against Kenya’s St Joseph’s Girls Kitale on Tuesday, 18 August 2026. St Joseph’s opened its campaign with a 0-0 draw against Kenya’s Amus College School, leaving that Group B fixture without a winner.
The tournament’s other reported match saw Uganda’s Rines Secondary School defeat Kenya’s Nyakach Girls 3-1 in Group A at the Ujenzi playground. Patricia Nakato, Dorcus Nantaba and Halimah Mupyanga scored for Rines, the reigning Uganda national champions.
Rines are scheduled to face Tanzania’s Fountain Gate on Monday morning, while Amus College will play Alliance on the same day. The official FEASSA Games opening ceremony is set for Sunday, 16 August 2026, at Jamuhuri Stadium, with Tanzania’s Prime Minister, Lameck Mwigulu Nchemba, expected to attend as chief guest.
