Island Boys’ KodiyakRedd stopped by Jeremy Smith in Miami bout
Jeremy Smith stopped Island Boys rapper KodiyakRedd after two minutes in Miami, extending the musician’s winless run to four fights.
Jeremy Smith stopped Island Boys rapper KodiyakRedd after around two minutes in Miami, adding another defeat to the musician’s boxing record. KodiyakRedd quit during Smith’s attack after absorbing heavy shots against the ropes and taking body punches.
Smith, who is known as the “World’s Strongest Dwarf”, was listed at 4’5”. KodiyakRedd had a major height and reach advantage, but he struggled to keep Smith away and offered little offence before the stoppage. Smith closed the distance, forced him back and hurt him to the body.
The result leaves KodiyakRedd without a win in four ring appearances. He has now been stopped twice, while his only previous fight to reach the final bell came against his brother, Flyysoulja. That bout ended with a result that was controversially read incorrectly.
His last boxing appearance ended in a quit against 48-year-old Charleston White. White competed in another state because he was legally blind in one eye. KodiyakRedd’s debut ended with a stoppage loss to streamer Oblivion.
Smith entered the bout with a stronger run of results, having beaten opponents despite his size. The height difference and longer arms on the other side did not prevent him from getting into close range and controlling the exchanges.
Adin Ross and UFC legend Rampage Jackson were on commentary and expressed surprise at the stoppage. KodiyakRedd later delivered a comedic heel promo aimed at the Miami crowd, saying his wealth meant the outcomes of his fights were not important to him. He also maintained that he has never trained, despite making four appearances and relying on bouts in the promotion as a key source of income.
