Who is Jully Poca? Brazil's boxer on Jake Paul's TikTok night

Brazilian boxer Jully Poca returns to the ring against Cinderella Linnear after joining Jake Paul’s MVP and turning an influencer run into a pro career.

Brazilian boxer Jully Poca will face Cinderella Linnear on Friday, August 21, in a four-round super-lightweight contest at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California. The bout is part of the card headlined by Amanda Serrano’s featherweight title defence against Argentina’s Lucrecia Manzur, which will stream live on TikTok.

Poca, whose real name is Jully de Oliveira, is 32 and comes from Santo André in São Paulo. She began training in Sanda, a Chinese form of boxing, at 17. That background shaped the movement, distance management, speed and reflexes that she now brings to boxing.

Her first fight came in April 2023 under the KingPyn banner in London, where she defeated Daniella Hemsley on points. She then beat Elle Brooke and Alaena Vampira before winning the Misfits Boxing women’s cruiserweight title. Victories over Avery Pongracz and Monica Medina followed, leaving her unbeaten during that influencer-boxing run.

Poca also became involved in a public exchange with MMA champion Cris Cyborg. Cyborg challenged her to a Misfits fight after winning the PFL Super Fights title, but Poca argued that the difference in experience made the contest premature. Cyborg responded by calling her a mosquito that needed dealing with, although the proposed bout did not happen.

Most Valuable Promotions, the company led by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, signed Poca in January 2026 as part of a group of six women. She now trains full-time with Antonio Filho, who previously worked with former WBO champion Rose Volante. The move has given Poca a route beyond crossover boxing and towards a conventional professional career.

Poca made that transition on June 13 at MVPW-04 in Orlando, beating Monica Medina again by unanimous decision at 140 pounds. The victory made her 1-0 as a professional. Linnear, from Shreveport, Louisiana, also enters Friday’s fight with a 1-0 record, making the bout a meeting of unbeaten prospects.

Poca has described Serrano, who headlines the event, as her ideal future opponent because of the Puerto Rican champion’s achievements and influence on women’s boxing. For now, Poca’s immediate task is to build on her professional debut and show further progress in her second fight.
