Kotoko technical director promises commitment to fans

Asante Kotoko technical director Stanley Menzo has pledged that the club will exert maximum effort to satisfy the requirements of the supporters and the management. He stated that the players and technical staff are dedicated to fulfilling the needs of the club and its fans during their preparations for the 2026/27 season.

Menzo made these comments following a visit to the team's current pre-season camp in Accra by the club's board. The squad is currently in the capital to intensify their training ahead of the upcoming football campaign.

The Porcupine Warriors began their pre-season activities at the Adako Jachie training grounds in Kumasi. That initial phase focused on evaluating squad depth, assessing trialists, and improving physical conditioning.

The team has since transitioned to the tactical stage of their preparations in Accra. The technical staff is currently working on player coordination and improving on-pitch understanding.

Menzo noted that the coaching staff and players are making a collective effort to prepare for the upcoming season. He promised that the group is working hard to meet the high standards expected of them.

Kotoko has 15 days of preparation remaining before they return to Kumasi. This will lead into the third edition of the Democracy Cup, where they are scheduled to face rivals Hearts of Oak. The match will serve as a test for the team to evaluate their progress before the new season begins.
