
Kwara United coach pleased with pre-season progress
Technical adviser Ashifat Suleiman says Kwara United are nearing readiness for the 2026-27 season following preparations in Katsina.
Kwara United technical adviser Ashifat Suleiman has expressed satisfaction with the progress the team has made during their current preparations. The Harmony Boys are currently in Katsina to participate in a pre-season tournament designed to test the squad before the official league action begins.
Suleiman noted that the team is approaching a state of readiness for the 2026-27 season. He indicated that the current training period is helping the players prepare for the challenges of the upcoming campaign.
The coach emphasized that the work is not yet finished. He promised that the squad will maintain a high level of effort and continue to work hard in the time remaining before the new season officially kicks off.
A primary focus for the technical staff is ensuring that the players develop better chemistry on the pitch. Suleiman stated that the team will continue their intensive work to ensure the players blend together effectively and function as a cohesive unit before the first match of the season.
Kwara United will begin their league campaign at the Rashidi Yekini Stadium in Ilorin. Their opening fixture of the season will be a match against Kano Pillars.
