Marcell Coetzee warns Bulls to be clinical against All Blacks

Marcell Coetzee has issued a warning to his Vodacom Bulls teammates that they must be clinical to avoid being punished by the All Blacks this Saturday.

The 35-year-old loose forward emphasized that any lapse in concentration against the international side will be exploited. Coetzee noted that the Stormers' recent performance against New Zealand provided a blueprint, highlighting how South African teams can challenge them through defensive pressure, set-piece strength, aerial contests, and disrupting the breakdowns.

Drawing on his experience of playing the All Blacks four times, Coetzee recalled the 2014 encounter at Ellis Park where the Springboks secured a victory through a late penalty from Pat Lambie. He described the upcoming match at Loftus Versfeld as an awesome opportunity to face the world's second-ranked team again.

Coetzee observed a significant sense of excitement among the younger members of the Bulls squad. He suggested that while not every player will reach the international level, this fixture serves as a vital chance for them to test their abilities against elite opposition.

The veteran forward also highlighted the positive influence of recent additions to the team. He credited Hanro Liebenberg with bringing Premiership experience, noted the maturity and energy of Curwin Bosch, and identified Thaakir Abrahams as a source of X-factor for the backline.
