Marcus Rashford included in Man Utd squad for AC Milan friendly

Marcus Rashford returns to the Manchester United squad for the final preseason friendly against AC Milan in Poland.

Marcus Rashford has been named in the Manchester United squad for their final preseason friendly against AC Milan. The forward could feature in a Manchester United shirt for the first time in 20 months when the team travels to Poland for the fixture on Saturday.

This match offers a potential reunion for Rashford, as he may face his former head coach Ruben Amorim. Michael Carrick has also included Kobbie Mainoo and Lisandro Martinez in the traveling squad for the encounter.

Benjamin Sesko is not part of the squad for the trip to Poland. Although he has returned to Carrington, the striker has not yet made an appearance for Manchester United during this preseason period. Sesko is currently working to regain full match fitness after recovering from a shin injury sustained over the summer months.

Despite his absence from the Poland trip, Sesko is expected to be fit for the club's Premier League opener against Hull. Other players, including Mason Mount and Mattijs de Ligt, are also returning to Carrington at this time.

Mount's recent involvement has been limited due to fitness concerns. He sustained an injury just 20 minutes into the match against PSG last weekend, which resulted in him missing the recent game against Leeds. He is now back at the training ground as the squad prepares for the final preseason test.
