Millwall manager Alex Neil demands high fee for Femi Azeez

Millwall boss Alex Neil has stated the club will not accept low offers for winger Femi Azeez despite interest from Hull City and European sides.

Millwall manager Alex Neil has declared that the club will only consider selling Femi Azeez if they receive the correct valuation. The manager warned that the club has no intention of accepting undervalued offers for the winger.

Interest in the 25-year-old Nigerian international has come from several directions, including European clubs and Premier League newcomers Hull City. Millwall previously turned down bids for the player from Ipswich Town during the January transfer window.

Neil noted that the interest in the player follows a strong season for the winger in the Sky Bet Championship. He indicated that the club is in a powerful position because they do not feel pressured to sell if clubs attempt to undercut their asking price.

Reports suggest that Ipswich Town are seeking a fee of approximately €20 million for the player. Azeez joined Ipswich Town from Reading in the summer of 2024 for a fee exceeding £1 million.

Neil confirmed that while every player has a market value, the club will not entertain cheap deals. He maintained that the current interest allows Millwall to remain firm in their negotiations.
