Prince Ampem double secures 3-2 Shanghai Port win over Wuhan

Prince Ampem scored two goals in quick succession to help Shanghai Port secure a 3-2 away win against Wuhan Three Towns. The Ghanaian attacker's second-half brace turned the game around for Kevin Muscat's side at the Wuhan Sports Center Stadium.

Wuhan Three Towns started the match with high intensity and took the lead in the third minute through Jhonder Cadiz. Shanghai Port struggled to create clear opportunities during the opening period and went into the half-time interval trailing 1-0.

The momentum shifted early in the second half when Zhen Wei scored in the 50th minute to equalise. This goal provided the platform for Ampem to take charge of the contest. These two goals in a four-minute window turned a difficult match in favour of the visitors. Wuhan Three Towns managed to reduce the deficit through Antoine Leautey in the 75th minute, but Shanghai Port defended their advantage through six minutes of added time to ensure the victory.
