Prince Badu linked with Ethiopian Premier League move to Hadia Hosaina
Asante Kotoko midfielder Prince Badu has been linked with Ethiopian Premier League club Hadia Hosaina, but no transfer has been confirmed.
Asante Kotoko midfielder Prince Badu has been linked with a move to Ethiopian Premier League club Hadia Hosaina. The 26-year-old remains under contract with the Ghanaian side, and the proposed transfer has not been confirmed.
The link emerged on 21 August, with Hadia Hosaina identified as the possible destination for the Ghanaian midfielder. Both clubs compete in their respective countries’ top-flight leagues, so a completed move would take Badu to another national premier division.
Badu joined Asante Kotoko from Nations FC on 1 January 2026. His current deal with the Kumasi club is scheduled to run until 30 June 2028, leaving him tied to Kotoko beyond the end of the current season.
The midfielder’s recorded career figures in the Premier League stand at 60 appearances and 4,082 minutes. He has scored once in that competition across those appearances. His listed market value is €75,000.
Badu’s transfer from Nations FC to Asante Kotoko remains his latest completed move. A switch to Hadia Hosaina would therefore represent his first reported change of country while keeping him in a top-flight league.
For now, Asante Kotoko remain Badu’s club and Hadia Hosaina is only the reported destination. The Ethiopian club’s interest has not resulted in a confirmed transfer, while the midfielder’s Ghana contract remains valid until June 2028.
